#4 COMMITMENT

#4 Commitment: Are you interested in achieving your goal, or are you committed? There’s a big difference. Interested means you think you might want to do it someday. Committed means you’ve made a firm decision, a solemn promise to yourself. It means you’re sick and tired of the old way of being, the old way of doing, the unsatisfactory results, and are finally going to create something new. Commitment means you are ready to
make any necessary sacrifices. It means you will identify and remove all obstacles. It means you will remain focused on both good days and challenging days. It means you know in your core that your success is inevitable and you just need to keep moving forward toward your goal. It’s your inevitable success that you dream about at night, and that gets you up out of bed in the morning knowing you’re one day closer. Commitment means there’s no turning back. The great German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “
Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth - the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans – that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too.” If you commit, I mean REALLY commit, you will succeed. Period.
